Just a couple of days in this region and I wish it had been a bit longer, as there's more to it than photographing down from Steptoe Butte.  I was very surprised by the proportion of brown fields and couldn't really tell whether they were fallow, or ready to plant, or hosting a winter crop that hadn't yet emerged.
