Stonington is a small town at the southern tip of Deer Isle, just to the west of Acadia N.P.  I've seen some beautiful photographs around here made in the depths of winter, though I've had to settle for an unproductive summer visit and a gloomy couple of days in autumn.  Whilst I like this photograph, there's a lot better to be had around here with the right light.
