This and two other photographs  feature the same large and spectacular rock on the shoreline of the northern coast of Belle-Ile-en-Mer, Brittany.  At high tide the water surrounds the rock making photography impossible, but leaves variable deposits of sand around its base so the available aspect at low tide is a little different every day.
